The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has been very successful with its handset business at its home in China. They were also in the news recently for acquiring Google’s Hugo Barra. Their latest handset, the Mi3 is set to launch in China soon and from the sound of it, is quite the phone. Running a 1.8GHz NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor with 2GB of RAM and upto 64GB storage, along with a 5-inch 1080p IPS display and a 13MP Sony Exmor RS camera, the Mi3 is a pretty powerful phone that is also easy on the eyes. Although the Tegra based model is only for the Chinese market, Xiaomi is looking into other markets with a Snapdragon 800 version. The unveiling of the phone is now available on YouTube with English subtitle.
