The local telco du has launched the new BlackBerry 9720 smartphone in the UAE. The BlackBerry 9720 is based on the older BlackBerry 7 OS and is a decent device for someone who is not quite ready to jump on the BlackBerry10 platform just yet. The BlackBerry 9720 has a spacious Keyboard, a 2.8” touchscreen and trackpad for easy navigation along with good battery life.
The new BlackBerry 9720 smartphone will be available from du shops on 24 August, for just AED799. Pre-paid customers who buy the smartphone before 21 September will enjoy 30 days of Social BlackBerry service from du for free.
